At Upshift Youth Empowerment Initiative, we believe that where a child is born should never determine the limits of their future.
We invest in children and youth in rural communities through programs that provide education support, life skills, mentorship, and opportunities.
From early development to livelihood readiness, we walk with them as they grow into confident, independent, and empowered individuals.
Music, Dance and Drama is a creative empowerment program that gives children and young people a safe space to express themselves, build confidence, and discover their talents through performance arts.
MDD fosters creativity, teamwork, and self-esteem while bringing joy, healing, and a sense of belonging. As one participant says, “Dancing is the thing I do in my sad times to become happy. I am so grateful I joined UpShift Youth Empowerment Initiative.”
Art Therapy is a safe space where children and youth express emotions, cope with challenges, and discover healing through creative activities like painting, drawing, and crafting.
This program nurtures self-awareness, confidence, and emotional resilience, turning creativity into a source of joy and personal growth. As one participant shared, “Through art, I can share my feelings and feel lighter. I am grateful for UpShift Youth Empowerment Initiative.”
Food and Nutrition empowers children and youth with knowledge and skills to make healthy eating choices, understand balanced diets, and practice good hygiene. Through interactive lessons, practical activities, and our weekly food program providing balanced, healthy meals every Saturday and Sunday
